Join us in making a difference for those in need.
Von and Vans Foundation of Hope Inc, is dedicated to raising autism awareness and providing resources for individuals and families within the autism spectrum disorder community, while also delivering meals and outreach services to individuals experiencing homelessness. We bridge awareness with action by fostering inclusive, compassionate communities rooted in dignity, education, and care
Von and Van's Foundation of Hope began with a simple act of kindness- sharing extra meals with people experiencing homelessness in the community. What started as a few plates prepared from leftover food quickly grew into a community movement when neighbors and supporters began asking how they could help.
Today, with the support of volunteers and donors, the foundation has expanded from serving meals for 5-10 individuals to providing food for 50-60 people at a time and continues to grow. Through compassion and community support, the foundation aims to provide nourishment, dignity and hope to those who need it most.
We organize monthly outreach events across Atlanta where volunteers prepare and distribute meals to individuals experiencing homelessness in streets and parks throughout the community.
The foundation is also committed to raising awareness about autism and helping families better understand autism spectrum disorder.
By partnering with local volunteers and community supporters, we provide direct support and resources to individuals and families in need

Von and Van's Foundation of Hope was founded in 2026 by Sandra Stevens in Atlanta, GA.
The foundation is named after Sandra's two children Cal'Von and La'Vandar, who were both diagnosed with autism at the ages of two and three. Navigating the world of autism as a parent opened her eyes to the many challenges families face, as well as the widespread of misinformation surrounding Autism Spectrum Disorder.
At the same time, Sandra had developed relationships with individuals experiencing homelessness in her community, While walking through the neighborhood with her children, she often spoke with people living on the streets and learned that many were simply trying to survive day to day.
One day, she promised one of her "homies" that she would bring extra food the next time she cooked. That simple promise grew into a regular act of service. What began as feeding a few people eventually grew into feeding dozens, as community members began donating and volunteering after seeing the outreach shared on social media.
Today, the foundation continues to grow with a vision of creating a future soup kitchen that can provide access to mental and behavioral health resources, especially for individuals who may be living with undiagnosed autism or other conditions. The other vision is to build an adult day program that helps adults with special needs gain essential life and job skills while continuing therapies such as ABA and Occupational Therapy.
