Von and Vans Foundation of Hope Inc. is dedicated to raising autism awareness and providing vital autism support resources for individuals and families within the autism spectrum disorder community. In addition, we deliver meals and outreach services as part of our homeless outreach initiatives for individuals experiencing homelessness. We bridge awareness with action by fostering inclusive, compassionate communities rooted in dignity, education, and care through our community service efforts.
Von and Van's Foundation of Hope began with a simple act of kindness—sharing extra meals with people experiencing homelessness in the community. What started as a few plates prepared from leftover food quickly grew into a community service movement when neighbors and supporters began asking how they could help, including those looking for autism support initiatives.
Today, with the valued support of volunteers and donors, the foundation has expanded from serving meals for 5-10 individuals to providing food for 50-60 people at a time, deepening its commitment to homeless outreach. Through compassion and community support, the foundation aims to provide nourishment, dignity, and hope to those who need it most.
We organize monthly outreach events across Atlanta as part of our community service efforts, where volunteers prepare and distribute meals to individuals experiencing homelessness in streets and parks throughout the community. Additionally, we strive to provide autism support by fostering inclusive environments during these gatherings.
The foundation is dedicated to raising awareness about autism, providing vital autism support, and helping families better understand autism spectrum disorder, all while engaging in community service and supporting homeless outreach efforts.
By partnering with local volunteers and community supporters, we provide essential autism support, engage in community service, and offer direct resources to individuals and families in need, including those facing homelessness.

Navigating the world of autism support as a parent opened her eyes to the many challenges families face, as well as the widespread misinformation surrounding Autism Spectrum Disorder.
At the same time, Sandra developed relationships with individuals experiencing homelessness in her community. While walking through the neighborhood with her children, she often spoke with people living on the streets and realized that many were simply trying to survive day to day.
